What a great list! We have very similar tastes. I loved Apeirogon when it came out. I was already a fan of the Parents Circle and so happy to see their work gain a larger audience. I’ve read several others listed (including Gonzalez!) and now have a few more on my TBR list! Thank you.
hi Tim, my most enjoyable novel this year was The Gentleman of Moscow. I really liked James by Percival Everett, too. The most impactful book (surprisingly!) was Ellen Frankel's The Five Books of Miriam: A Women's Commentary on the Torah. The one I'm most proud of getting through (well worth it!) was The Cave and the Light by Arthur Herman.
